There is 2 weeks between classes to do “homework”
This class is for the basic braid. This quilt is fat quarter friendly. You will need 10 fabrics, 1/2 meter each for the braids depending on the size
you are making. 1/2 meter for the accent squares – they are the little diamond running up the braids. 1/4 meter for the starting triangles at the
bottom of the quilt and 1/4 meter for the ending triangles. Be sure these two fabrics are non-directional. The borders can be purchased at a
later date since you will need your braids to help choose the fabric.
To do before class:
1. Wash, dry, iron and straighten raw edge of each fabric
2. From each of the braid fabrics – cut one strip 8.5” x width of fabric, then open the fabric and cut it in half along the fold so you will
have 2 pieces 8.5” x approx. 20”
